I was so inspired by the famous philosopher
Daniel Dennett after watching his TedTalks presentation
"The illusion of consciousness".

As human beings we do not see details, so our brain completes the details that we miss as we look. As you look at this work from far away your brain is going to tell you it's a photograph. As you get closer to the work, the details will be less and less clear.
Existence of this work is creating an itch in our brains. Because of its incomplete and complete form at the same time.
My name is Taylan Tekin, was born in Istanbul, September 1981. I'm a Turkish pixel artist living in Geneva since 2015. I graduated from Istanbul Technical University as an electrical engineer in 2009. But during my 3rd semester (2000) I started to work for an advertising agency. So, my career in advertising & marketing has started. As of 2009 I started my own agency called RedRoom Istanbul and served multinational clients such as Microsoft, Adobe, Autodesk, etc. for more than 9 years. Working in advertising sector helped me a lot to develop my sense of esthetic, to understand importance of colors and how human brain works. In 2015 my wife and I moved to Geneva for her new assignment.
In early 2018, I created a different technique combining photography and plastic fuse beads with a very unique style and precision.

My works are suitable for every light condition. Especially with low light condition, the effect of the work increases significantly. Also, the thickness of the plastic beads creates a very elegant 3-D effect from different angles."
